The 45th Symposium on Engineering in Astronomy
1. Schedule
January 26 (Mon) – 27 (Tue), 2026
2. Venue
JAXA Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Building A Large Conference Room and online via Zoom
Speakers and registered participants will receive a Zoom invitation via email after the registration deadline. Therefore, registration is required even for online participation only.
3. General Presentations
General presentations will be held on Tuesday, January 27.
Oral presentations will be 15 minutes and questions.
Please note the symposium will be conducted in Japanese, but presentations in English are welcome.
4. Excursion
The excursion will be held on the afternoon of Monday, January 26. Details will be announced in the 2nd Circular.
5. Proceedings
The proceedings will be published online. Details regarding manuscript formatting will be announced in the 2nd Circular or later.
6. Participation Fee & Travel Expenses
There is no participation fee. Travel expenses will not be covered.
7. Reception
A reception for the symposium is scheduled for the evening of the first day (Monday, January 26).
Those wishing to attend should register via the registration form. The participation fee is expected to be approximately 4,000 yen.

Please arrange your own accommodations.
9. Registration

10. Important Deadlines
– On-site Participation Registration: Friday, November 28, 2025, 17:00 Japan Standard Time (Presentation/ Audit) CLOSED
– Online auditing registration: Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 17:00 Japan Standard Time (auditing only)
– Proceedings manuscript submission: Friday, February 27, 2026, 17:00 Japan Standard Time
To determine the number of on-site participants in advance and request admission to the venue, those planning to visit the site to speak/audit sessions must complete your registration by Friday, November 28.
