Introduction

The 40th Symposium on Engineering in Astronomy will be held at "ONLONE" on January 28th to 29th, 2021.

The symposium aims at providing opportunity to discuss and share technical information in Astronomy. In order to attain its aim, the presentations include all fields of engineering and techniques for astronomical engineers, technicians and scientists such as designs, developments, maintenance, managements, and so on.

The special theme of the symposium, this year, is ‘New Work Styles’. In addition to general oral presentations, the organizing committee encourages you to share your experiences and suggestions of non-conventional work styles such as telework, and solutions to overcome difficulties associated with the work styles.

Oral presentations are presented in Japanese (mainly) and in English.

We welcome you to join us for an exciting program in 2021!!
