Introduction
The 43rd Symposium on Engineering in Astronomy will be held "ONLINE and at a REAL MEETING PLACE, the large seminar room in NAOJ Mitaka," on January 18th and 19th, 2024.
The symposium aims at providing opportunities to discuss and share technical information such as design, development, improvement, daily operations for engineers and scientists involved in Astronomy. Furthermore, it is expected to contribute to the development of technology in the field of Astronomy.
The theme of this year's conference is "Study of failure" and we invite general presentations.
In addition to the general presentation, we are planning a seminar on the theme of "Study of failure" by Professor Masayuki Nakao, professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Tokyo, as a facilitator project.
We are planning to hold a unique symposium from a different perspective than other academic conferences and research groups.
We sincerely look forward to your participation.
- This symposium is hosted by National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ)
