Meeting Information

* We will not prepare excursion program on this symposium.

Japanese (mainly) and English

4. For Author and Presenters

The presentation style will be the following three types:

Oral presentation (15min. 12min., Q&A 3min.)
Oral presentation (15min. 12min., Q&A 3min.) and Poster presentation
Poster presentation and Oral short presentation (3min.)

* There is a laptop available for presenters; OS: Windows10, Microsoft Power Point 2013.
* Presentation time might be changed by the total number of presentations.

Conference Proceedings

All presenters are required to submit proceedings papers of their own presentations by e-mail.
Conference Proceedings will be uploaded on the web.

  • Paper size and format: A4(portrait) size, two - four papers. Detailed format and an example is here(Sorry, mostly Japanese).
  • File format: PDF file
  • A copy of your presentation(e.g. power point file) is not accept.
  • Format of File name： tecsym18_(YOUR-FAMILY-NAME)_(YOUR-PERSONAL-NAME).pdf (e.g. tecsym18_Tenmondai_Taro.pdf)
  • Deadline: January 31th, 2019(24:00 JST[15:00 UT])

5. The Sessions Planned by Organizing Committee

There will be group discussion of all of the member participation this year. It is intended to approach in the field of future astronomy in different area such as technique, organization, and cooperation.

6. Registration Fee & Travel support

No registration fee.

* NAOJ will provide assistance for travel fee for presenters, but the total cost can not be paid fully because of the limited budget.

7. Banquet

Date: January 10, 2019

Location: Cafeteria in NAOJ Mitaka Campus

Estimated fee: 3,500 　Fee: 3,000 YEN/person(cash only).

8. Excursion Program

We will not prepare excursion program on this symposium.

12. Note

Since the end of 2017, all the visitors need to use a temporal card key to enter all the building in NAOJ Mitaka campus. All the "registered" participants can receive the card key from receptionists at the reception of this symposium around the entrance of Subaru building before the symposium starts.
For visitors coming after symposium starts and ones without the registration, we would appreciate it if you could receive the card key from security guards at main gate of the campus, by showing your identification card.
